Two CH owners honored as volunteer leaders

CH resident Peni Colville and CH owner Charlie Smith were both recently honored in the Tribune & Georgian newspaper supplement "Tributaries," for their outstanding volunteer contributions to the community.

Peni, a retired nurse, moved to Cumberland Harbour 3 years ago with her husband Sam, who practiced 1st Amendment law in Kansas City, MO.  Peni, as mentioned in the Tributaries article, is involved in volunteering locally in many different ways.  Her volunteer work includes duties at the hospital, delivering altar flowers to local senior centers, and blood pressure checks at King of Peace Episcopal Church.

Charlie, a financial advisor and Cumberland Harbour lot owner lives in St. Marys with his wife Mary. Together, they run a financial services/insurance agency. (Mary handles the insurance side of the business.) Charlie, current Vice Chair of the Camden County Chamber of Commerce, is involved in many other local boards and organizations. Charlie indicates he feels a strong responsibility to the community to step up and contribute as challenges and opportunities arise.
