The home of Dr. John and Sandra Halsey in Charleston Place was struck by lightening and suffered serious fire damage on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. The Halseys are not year-round residents and were not staying at the home at the time of the fire.

All of the Halseys' neighbors at Cumberland Harbor extend their sympathy, offer their assistance, and hope for the family's return.
